Hyderabad: Suriya’s latest film Retro, is gaining buzz ahead of its digital release. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, this gangster love drama features Pooja Hegde as the female lead and is expected to premiere on Netflix soon.

According to reports, Retro will start streaming on Netflix from June 5, 2025, in multiple languages including Hindi. An official announcement confirming the date is likely to be made shortly.


The film also stars Joju George, Vidhu, Jayaram, and Nassar in key roles. It was produced by Suriya and Jyotika, along with Kaarthekeyen Santhanam and Rajsekar Pandian. Santhosh Narayanan composed the music.

Though the film didn’t make a big mark at the box office, fans are hopeful that the OTT release will give Retro a second chance to impress viewers.
