Indian Idol Winner: Abhijeet Sawant was on tinder even after marriage, said- ‘Biwi did not know, later realized’

News India Live, Digital Desk: Indian Idol Season 1 Winner Abhijeet Sawant Recently told in a podcast that despite being married, he uses online dating platform tinder. However, when the news of using his tinder came to light, he stopped using the platform.

Speaking on Hindi Rush, Abhijeet said that he spoke to two or three women. “I am a curious person. I have always been curiosity. I was in America with my friend, and he said, ‘This is a new app. It’s for dating. I then made my profile, and it was there. I used to go there sometimes, I saw what is this, what is all this?

“The match used to come, used to talk. This thing is not very strange. I am fond of talking and you talk very deeply to girls… I used to talk a lot. I got 2-3 people who talked well. Later on Twitter, the next is my account, then I said that ‘it will not look good’. He does not know till now, he can not know what he can know, man.”

Abhijeet and Shilpa were married in 2007. The couple have two children- Sonali Sawant and Amit Sawant. The pair (2008–2009) also participated in Nach Baliye Season 4.
