Final Merit List Released for CDS Examination II

Today, on May 23, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has published the final merit list for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) - II. A total of 574 candidates, comprising 510 men and 64 women, have successfully qualified for the Officers Training Academy (OTA) located in Chennai. The merit list can be accessed on the official UPSC website.


There are 295 available positions: 276 for the 122nd SSC (NT) Course for Men and 19 for the 36th SSC Women (Non-Technical) Course.

How to Access the Final Merit List
  • Go to the official UPSC website.

  • Navigate to the section labeled “What’s New — Final Result - CDS Exam (II).”

  • A PDF document will appear, listing the names of the selected candidates.

  • Download and save the PDF for your records.

  • Click here for direct access to the results.


    Individual scores for candidates will be available on the UPSC website within 15 days following this announcement and will be accessible for a period of 30 days.
