School Closed Kanwar Yatra: Given the Kanwar Yatra, a holiday has been declared in all schools and colleges in the Ghaziabad district as well. Schools and colleges in the Ghaziabad district will remain closed from 17 to 23 July. Ghaziabad District Magistrate issued the order saying, "There will be excessive crowd and traffic pressure on the roadways during the Kanwar Yatra. To maintain the safety of children and a smooth traffic system, a holiday is declared in all educational institutions of the district from 17 July to 23 July 2025." This order will apply to all government and government-aided basic and secondary schools in the district. If any school is found violating this order, strict action will be taken by the administration. Given the crowd, security, and traffic arrangements of Kanwar Yatra, on the instructions of the District Magistrate, there is a holiday in the schools of Badaun too. According to District School Inspector Lalji Yadav, schools from class 6 to 12 will remain closed on 12 and 14 July, 19 to 21 July, 26 to 28 July, and 2 to 4 August. However, the presence of teachers and other staff will be mandatory these days, and they will cooperate in administrative work. Holidays have been declared every Saturday and Monday of the Shravan month in all council, aided, recognized, and board-run schools from class 1 to 8 in the district.


Schools closed on Monday in Bareilly.


Holidays have been declared every Monday of Sawan in all schools and colleges in the Bareilly district. The District Magistrate has taken this decision keeping in mind the traffic and security arrangements during the Kanwar Yatra.
